What does progress in RE look like? Training to support the subject leader of RE in a church school - Session 3 of 3 - An in-person Moderation Twilight. Don’t miss it!

This session is specifically aimed at leaders of RE in church schools. It will have a focus on moderation and is an opportunity to share how your school`s Christian vision is seen through pupils` work in RE.

The session will include:
• An update on national information relevant to Religious Education, including feedback from SIAMS inspections under the current schedule.
• Sharing of examples of work where pupils are working `at` expectation and where they are working `beyond`.
• Time to add to the school`s self evaluation of SIAMS Strand 7 Self Evaluations.

Please note that this is the third and final session of a sequence of 3 sessions to support your leadership of RE in a church school. It is an `in person` session for moderation of RE between schools. In addition to this training, all schools are encouraged to access their local ‘RE Network Hub’ which meets at least twice a year. These are led by Hub Lead Practitioners and supported by SACRE and Diocesan RE advisers. Go to the HLP page on the DBE website to see where and when your next local meeting will be held.
